Course Prerequisites:

1. You must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another organization.
2. You must be at least 10 years of age.
3. Complete the Aquarium Scuba Diving Waiver (PDF) and provide it to your guide at the aquarium

What will I do?

During the PADI Underwater Photography Specialty Course at the Downtown Aquarium, you will learn to use the PADI SEA (Shoot, Examine, and Adjust) method, which takes full advantage of digital technology.  The result is good underwater photos faster than you can imagine.  You will not only learn how to take good photos, but how to share them with your friends via email or printing, optimizing your work with your computer, storage and more. 

How long will it take?

Approximately four hours (Includes classroom session at the aquarium and two dives).

Course Fee: $249.00

Includes: Classroom instruction, two dives, PADI Specialty certification and all diving equipment (BC, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, snorkel, tanks and weights)
*You may bring your own mask.

Not Included: Camera, Optional - PADI Digital Underwater Photo online ($130), PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Manual, PADI Digital Underwater Photographer White Balance Slate, Digital camera with underwater housing and support hardware. *This course can be applied toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
