Why take the Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty Course?

Digital has taken the underwater photography world by storm.  Get in on the action with the PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty Course.  You can quickly and easily capture the underwater world with your camera and on your computer.

Course Prerequisites:

1. You must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another organization.
2. You must be at least 10 years of age.

What will I do?

During the PADI Underwater Photography Specialty Course at the Downtown Aquarium, you will learn to use the PADI SEA (Shoot, Examine, and Adjust) method, which takes full advantage of digital technology.  The result is good underwater photos faster than you can imagine.  You will not only learn how to take good photos, but how to share them with your friends via email or printing, optimizing your work with your computer, storage and more. 

How long will it take?

Approximately four hours (which includes classroom and two dives in the Beneath the Sea exhibit).

Course Fee: $299.00

Includes: Classroom instruction, two dives in the Beneath the Sea exhibit, all equipment (BC, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, snorkel, tanks and weights*
*You may bring your own mask.

Not Included: PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Manual, PADI Digital Underwater Photographer White Balance Slate, Digital camera with underwater housing and support hardware.
*The course counts towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
